Querim Beach in Goa
Querim or Keri Beach is the northern-most beach in Goa, with a long, white coast-line and palm and causarinas trees lining its shore.
The beach has a few shacks and restaurants which offer delicious local and seafood
cuisine.
Though there are a few paragliding and watersports options, swimming at this beach is not recommended, especially near the Terekhol Estuary.
In case you feel that the place is more than average for you then you can also plan a stay here in the thatched huts.
Location
This beach is situated at a distance of just 28 Kms from Mapusa and has the steepest slope out of all the Goan beaches.
Vagator Beach
Vagator Beach is one of the most beautiful beaches in north Goa. It is located in Bardez taluk of Goa about 21 km northwest of Panaji.
Located away from the other touristy places in Goa, Vagator is clean and quiet. Vagator is split into two as it is separated by a headland. When you stand on the headland facing the sea, the beach on your right is the Big Vagator Beach or North Vagator Beach.
Tourist season that starts in December and ends in January makes the stalls and everything in Goa a bit pricey but there are many clubs that are still worth a visit for a nice time dancing to trance and psychedelic music played by digital jockeys who come from all around the world mainly for the very popular Sunburn Festival. A part of Vagator Beach, known as Disco Valley, is the best place for trance parties in Goa since 1980s. There are a few famous open air clubs that attract lots of people to the beach that are located in Disco Valley.
There are a couple of mid-range hotels near the beach. Vagator also boasts of a luxury hotel which is about one km away from the beach.
BEST TIME TO VISIT
Vagator can be visited any time of the year. However, November to February is the best time to visit Vagator Beach when the climate is cool and pleasant. Rest of the year, Vagator remains extremely hot and humid.
Anjuna Beach
If you are a looking for a party or want to see the happening life in Goa, then this is the place to be. Referred to as the Freak Capital of the World, this rocky beach has quite a few venues for entertaining backpackers and tourists. The soft white sand and swaying coconut palms add to the holiday spirit on the shore of the Arabian Sea. Take a plunge into the calm waters or try out bungee jumping at this happening beach of Goa.
The fun and frolic is truly reflected at the dance clubs, amphitheatres, restaurants and bars. So, just relax and rejuvenate yourself. Those of you who love shopping, Anjuna Beach has the perfect offer- the weekly Flea MARKET, which sets up every Wednesday. One of the most famous venues for full moon parties, this is a great place to shop, eat and celebrate when in Goa - thanks to the Anjuna Flea Market, delightful beach shacks and party hubs like Paradiso and Curly's.
Location
The nearest railhead is Karmali, which is 11 kilometres away. From there you can take a taxi/auto to the beach.
ABOUT Calangute Beach
Discovered by hippies in the 60s, Calangute Beach stays one of the hippest of all the beaches at Goa. With the blue waters of the Arabian Sea lapping its shores, it's a heaven for nature lovers. Plus, it lets you fly over the waves with para-sailing and a host of adventure sports.
Location
Located in North Goa, Calangute Beach is around 15 kms from Panaji. It sprawls by the Calangute-Baga Road.

Galgibaga Beach
Galgiibag is one of the beaches located in the southernmost part of South Goa. This empty stretch of beach with its silvery sands and clusters of coconut palms, is a calm and serene paradise and a poet’s delight.
The northern part of the beach is entirely under the protected zone where the forest department runs a very successful turtle conservation program. If you happen to be here between December to February, you might find turtle nests with eggs, however it is strongly recommended that you not touch them.

Agonda Beach
Agonda is a three kilometre long, beautiful cove of white sand, that is secluded and surrounded by beautiful palm trees. Also known as the silent beach, Agonda is the undiscovered paradise of Goa. Agonda beach is the ideal place to laze and relax as not many tourists visit this area. The nature is at its best here with the beautiful sea, a background of palms and you in the midst of it. Agonda village is on the way to the Benaulim beach, just 6 km north of the Palolem beach which is in the heart of the Canacona region of South Goa.

Location
Polem beach is located in Canacona taluka in South Goa, close to the Karnataka border and the port town of Karwar, in Karnataka. It is beautiful 700m stretch secluded beach, off the beaten track beach, with golden sand and fringed by tall palm trees.
